Jodi will assess your child’s individual needs and provide appropriate counseling based on your profile. Receiving a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or Celiac Disease can be devasting at first. We will work together to help you cope with new emotions and roadblocks that come with a new situtation. Both of my children were diagnosed with developmental issues at a young age, and at the same time, I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease, so not only am I trained to handle these situations, I have lived them. I will support you every step of the way.
For special diets, Jodi will share her own personal experience with the diet, including recommendations of the best tasting gluten-free products, shopping and travel tips. Most importantly, she will get you ready for this life change, that can be challenging, but can be a positive experience from which you can learn and grow. Jodi works with individuals and families and has been on the gluten-free diet for over eight years. Testimonials:
"I have utmost confidence in you and am thankful to have you!"
Michele Alkalay MD, Mt. Kisco Medical Group
"When we first found out our daughter had Celiac Disease, it felt like we were hit with a ton of bricks! I thought, "I'm never going to figure this out", then I met Jodi Baretz, she was a referral from our doctor at MKMG. The minute I met her I knew instantly that I could understand theses new "rules" of eating. Jodi actually took my husband and I shopping and pointed out what my daughter could eat. I gave her a list of my daughters favorite foods and item by item we found Gluten Free foods that we could replace. When Jodi met our daughter she instantly bonded with her and felt at ease with her. My daughter could open up and tell Jodi what was on her mind. Jodi helped our family adjust to this new lifestyle change and continues to be helpful one year later. I would recommend Jodi Baretz to anyone in need of a health coach."
